- I just wanted to say that I bought a USR 33.6 internal a few weeks ago
- and am having zero problems. I'm running W95 dialup networking (to a
- server at my company that has a rack of USR 28.8s). I'm also running
- Linix term and PPP via the same server as well as dialing up Compuserve
- using their CIM and Web browser. I just plugged it in and started using
- it. No special initialization strings or anything else.
-
- I have never had an unexpected disconnect and have stayed connected over
- 26 hours. The only "problem" I see is my bad POTS lines from GTE at home
- to SW Bell at work that will only allow connects at 26.4.
